Le Comité d'Histoire was a secret club for lovers of history. Occasionally, new members would join, but mainly it was just the handful of descendants of the original founders. One of the committee, however, was not like the others. He was not a fan of history. In fact, history had killed his mother. I will avenge her, he thought. This club will be disbanded.

How could history have killed someone, you ask? Let’s retrace. The history club was on a trip to The Natural Museum of Natural History in Paris. The break-in. The shootout. He could remember it so vividly. The huge dinosaur model tumbling down. But we will get onto that another time.

The History Committee was planning a History Scavenger Hunt event. The head of the club had hidden clues all over historical places in the world. All the committee had to do was find them. But first, let me introduce to you a few of the members. Paul Baggles was a mad scientist and he was working on a time travel project. Erica Whiteheart was an archaeologist and spent her time digging holes in the ground finding historical artifacts. You get it- they were an odd bunch.

But the global Scavenger Hunt would be the biggest historical event in their lives. Someone could easily sabotage it. The head of the committee was placing the clues all over the world now. The members were excited, but also a bit worried. What would-and could-happen?

Halfway across the world, the hiding of clues was not going well. A new news story would soon arise about an attack on a historical site…
