Alfrod Buff was one of the best crocodile feeders in the world. He worked at the North London zoo. He fed the one crocodile, Big Beth. There was only one crocodile because Big Beth ate all the others. Alfrod wore a mask because Big Beth bit his face off and anyone who saw his face vomited straight away because it was so disgusting and disfigured. On Wednesday, Alfrod was walking into the enclosure to feed Big Beth, because if he didn’t feed her, she would break out of her enclosure and eat everything in the zoo, including the people, and then she would cause havoc in the rest of London and the rest of the world because she was 46 m long and 13 m wide with a whopping mouth span of 20 m and her teeth, each one was 1 m long.

Tonight was the opening of the new crocodile enclosure. The Queen of England was going to be there, and everyone was waiting for Alfrod, who was going to feed Big Beth in front of the Queen in the new enclosure. Before they moved Big Beth into the new enclosure, which was hard, Alfrod was eaten by Big Beth. He was eaten whole in one bite, so no one knew.

Now, there is this young man named Johnny Slim, he is a chef, and he just graduated from college. He went to the opening of the new enclosure to cook for the Queen. He hadn’t been able to cook for a while because of his broken arm, but now his arm had healed and he could cook again for the Queen.

Ian Jeffords was organising the event. When Johnny Slim got to the new enclosure, Ian Jeffords asked him, “Has your injury healed? Is that why you're not wearing the thing?”
Ian was, of course, thinking of Alfrod’s face and mask.
And Johnny Slim said, "Yes," as he was thinking of his cast for his broken arm.
"Are you ready to prepare lunch?" asked Ian, thinking of Big Beth.
"Perfectly," replied Johnny, thinking of the Queen.
“Great, then I’ll take you to the new enclosure to feed Big Beth,” said Ian.

Johnny tried to protest, but his throat was sore and closing up with fright, so he couldn’t talk properly. Johnny was tossed into the new enclosure and he was terrified of the gigantic beast in front of him.
