About Serena Geddes 

Serena is an international children's book author and illustrator known for her illustrated series Mia Megastar, Howzat Pat, Lulu Bell, and picture books like We Are Matildas and Hope Is a Spark. She has illustrated over 70 titles and is currently writing and illustrating her first graphic novel, Ella Forever. A former Disney artist, she worked on The Lion King II, Peter Pan, and more, mastering emotion and movement. 

As a reluctant young reader, Serena is passionate about inspiring children through writing, visual storytelling, and illustration. She runs creative illustration and writing workshops that encourage kids to bring their own stories to life.
