Egg and spoon race
Did you know that people have had egg and spoon races for over 100 years? You can have an egg and spoon race at home too!
You don’t even have to use a real egg — scrunch up foil or damp newspaper to make an egg shape and seal it with sticky-tape.
Get ready to race!
First, make a race track. Balance your egg (or ball, or scrunched up newspaper) on the spoon and try to finish the race as quickly as possible.
To make it harder, add some obstacles — a cushion, a chair or even try racing on your knees. Race against your family, or practice solo to get your fastest time.
