The trip begins and things are going well, there is enough fuel and enough food. The two brothers are almost in Darwin when things take a turn for the worse. The engine lights up in flames and they start plummeting towards the clear ocean. From the ground all you could see is a thick grey fireball going into the ocean. A ship nearby called the HMAS Sydney spots this fireball and starts heading towards it to check for survivors. As the plane hits the water the two brothers jump out and start floating in the water. Then the HMAS Sydney comes into view and the two brothers take in a relieved sigh. The boat picks them up and takes them to Darwin. The two brothers still received a medal for their bravery on taking on this glorious task. They then travel back to England and live the rest of their lives.
