Deep in the tropical rainforests of Kiara Cove Island, lived a parrot called Holly she was the baby of the family but very kind and funny. She loved all her friends, one called Pippa, another called Meg and, last but not least, one called Cici. Their little group was known as the “precious parrots”.
They loved playing hide and seek behind all the trees, some were very good hiding spots.
Every Sunday was the community’s fun day, and the precious parrots would play lots of games and have ice-cream. As well as playing lots of games and having ice-cream, their friend Charlie the Quokka would come and visit them from the bush across the road. They would all have fun, but trouble the came when a venomous snake called Vinema was around, she was the trouble- maker in the rainforest and sometimes visited the bush across the road where Charlie lived.
Today is Sunday and Holly, Pippa, Meg and Cici are waiting for Charlie to come and visit from across the road. While they are waiting, they play tip. After a few minutes of waiting Charlie arrives and they go to get ice-cream. After they finish their ice-cream, they decid to go to a theme park. The only theme park in town is called the Flying Wings and it is just a mile away, so they decide to walk to the Flying Wings theme park. When they get there it is extraordinarily busy but lots of fun. They have so much fun that they don’t realize the time pass. It is already five o’clock in the afternoon, so they go home to have dinner and go to bed. The next morning Holly finds herself in her nest without her parents, she looks everywhere and even asks her neighbors, but no one has seen her parents. That only means one thing, that they got kidnapped. Holly thinks for a moment of where her parents could be. Vinema has probably visited her nest unless there is another villain in the rainforest. Holly curls up in a tight ball and starts to cry. She decides to go and tell her friends what has happened. Their parents reassure her that they will look after her while they find her own parents.
